Wrapped Beacon ETH (WBETH) is a tokenized version of Ethereum’s native cryptocurrency, ETH, designed to be compatible with the Beacon Chain. It allows users to participate in Ethereum 2.0 while still being able to trade and interact with DeFi applications on the Ethereum network. WBETH can be exchanged 1:1 for ETH and is backed by a reserve of ETH held in custody.
